AHEC Navigator is a Web-Based Area Health Education Center (AHEC) office information management system. This new web-based program streamlines both AHEC and HETC office operations and allows for regional and statewide access, all in one database. So your data is synchronzed and centralized ALL of the time.
The software is completely web-based and is divided into state, central office and individual center levels. You can generate reports for your center or your central office from anywhere you have access to the Internet and Internet Explorer 5 or higher. With this application, a satellite office can be added and common data can be shared instantaneously.

AHEC Navigator promotes the "pipeline" process of tracking an individual, whether in grade school or working in a medical profession through the tracking of many types of common demographical data entries.
AHEC Navigator is easily integrated into normal daily office practices. Unlike other programs, data collection happens on a continuous basis as part of the normal workday. It provides functions like generating Student Fact sheets and some of the daily repetitive-use forms associated with administering an AHEC or HETC. It will streamline processes for Rotation Management, Education Tracking and Housing Logistics Tracking. The software will save time in scheduling and tracking classes and credits for Medical Education, Continuing Education, Community Education, Health Careers and Health Fairs. It also has the ability to distribute information to targeted audiences using email distribution lists. This process reduces office workloads and when reports are needed, it creates an efficient and accurate reporting mechanism. Office personnel have more time to work on AHEC issues and not basic office logistics. This program will reduce the paperwork involved in the state and federal reporting process as well as created a level of accuracy that could not be duplicated using a manual system.
